The Career and career guidance in Europe: Assessing strengths and addressing gaps event welcomed abstracts from authors wishing to be considered for the upcoming book. Authors of accepted abstracts were invited to present a brief 5 minute presentation on their potential contribution.
The presentations were divided into 5 topics which will each have a post over this week. The first topic was ‘Critical perspectives on frameworks and concepts of career’ with the following presentations.

Ricky Gee; Nottingham Trent University; UK: Critiquing progress, the dark side of modernity and career discourse
