I’ve been teaching career guidance and social justice to new guidance professionals in Norway. I did an hour lecture trying to set out some of the key concepts that underpin the thinking that we’ve been doing on social justice in the field. I focused on opportunity structure, neoliberalism, responsibilisation and oppression as key concepts and ended up outlining the five signposts towards a socially just career guidance that we outlined in the final chapter of Career guidance for emancipation.
