On Tuesday 23rd September 2025, 12.00-13.30 UTC+1 a train-the-trainer webinar will be taking place on Microsoft Teams covering how to deliver a Critical Career workshop.
In this workshop, Rie Thomsen and Tristram Hooley share how career researchers and career professionals can use a short, 45–60 minute format Critical Careers workshop as a tool to engage the general public and anyone interested in dialogue and practical exercises. The activities are designed to encourage more sophisticated and emancipated ways of thinking about careers.

The workshop is free and aimed at COCAG members, all careers professionals and open to everyone involved in careers work.
It is based on the short Careers book, published as part of the COCAG project by Aarhus University Press, and freely available as both an e-book and an audiobook. https://en.unipress.dk/udgivelser/c/careers/
