The Nordic Journal of Transitions, Careers and Guidance is inviting submissions for a Special Collection on “Migration, Integration, Careers, and Career Guidance in the Nordic Context“.

This Special collection seeks to deepen the understanding of the intersections between migration, integration, careers, and career guidance in the Nordic context. This call welcomes conceptual and empirical research contributions from a range of disciplinary and interdisciplinary vantage points. Contributions to this Special Issue can focus on, but are not limited to, the following themes:

• Careers and livelihoods in the context of migration
• Career guidance measures aimed at people with a migrant/minority background
• Career guidance contributing to/challenging integration/migration policies
• The role of career practitioners in integration
• Career guidance for minorities within minorities
• Career guidance policies and practices supporting or constraining integration
• Career guidance contributing to the social belonging and psychological well-being of people with a migrant/minority background
• Emancipatory career guidance for people with a migrant/minority background
